Located on the first floor of a separate building, adjacent to our pub, this first-floor room overlooks the beautiful village of Ascott-under-Wychwood. Travel cot for under 2s can be added on booking.

At The Swan, we believe pups deserve the same warm welcome as their humans. Our dog-friendly guests are treated as true VIPs, with a special welcome pack including tasty treats, a local walking map, a cosy bed, and a water bowl to make them feel right at home.
To top if off, dogs can even enjoy their own bar menu – from a juicy sausage to a frothy puppacino – because every good pub deserves happy paws at the table.

Perfect location in the Cotswolds with Burford and all its surroundings within minutes drive. Very nicely surprised to be upgraded to the family room with living room two bedrooms and shared bathroom. Never slept in such comfortable beds, top quality linen and mattress toppers. Excellent dinner and breakfast with very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

This place is amazing. 5 star quality all the way around. The staff. The food. All of it. So much to see and visit in all directions. Everything within an hour and a half. Warrick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon, Diddly Squat Farm, Farmers Dog, Blenheim Palace. Stone Henge. We will 100% come here again. Cannot say enough good things about this Inn.

A beautiful pub and hotel in stunning countryside. All the staff made our stay very welcoming and the Swan showed excellent customer service throughout our entire stay. We stayed with my little dog and the rooms and pub were very dog friendly with a luxurious bed, dog treats and toys; she didn't want to leave. Our dinner was delicious and there is a great choice of wines and options. There are beautiful walks on the doorstep and the major towns and villages of Kingham, Chipping Norton, Charlbury and Burford are very close. Would high recommend and we will be back!

Check-out is by 11am. Late check-out is subject to availability, so do ask our reservations team if you’d like a slower start to the day.
Yes, every stay includes a continental Cotswold breakfast, served in our restaurant as standard. If you’d like something heartier, a Full Cotswolds Cooked Breakfast is available a la carte.
Yes, all of our bedrooms are dog-friendly, and dogs are treated as VIPs with a welcome pack of treats, a local walking map, a cosy bed and a water bowl, plus their own dog bar menu. We can even arrange a dog-walking service through our partner Woofwolds. There is a small charge of £20 per dog.
Yes. Our Family Room is made up of two bedrooms (one double, one twin) with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and a separate seating area, ideal for families. A travel cot for under-2s can also be added at the time of booking. We can add a travel cot to some of our other bedrooms too, please enquire with our reservations team.
