The Swan hosts a wide range of private events, from birthday celebrations, family get-togethers and shooting parties to business meetings, private dinners and weddings. Most take place in The Nest, our private dining room, or across the whole venue for larger occasions.
The Nest, our private dining room, seats up to 24 guests. For larger celebrations, the whole venue can be hired exclusively, with the garden and terrace seating up to 130 and holding up to 200 standing.
For weekend events that require exclusive hire of the venue, there is a minimum spend starting from £10,000. For The Nest and other private events, our events team will confirm any minimum spend when you enquire.
No, we don’t charge a venue hire fee. For weekend dates that require exclusive use of the venue there is a minimum spend instead, and our events team can send a full breakdown when you enquire.
Yes. The entire venue, the eleven ensuite bedrooms, the pub, The Nest private dining room, and the garden and terrace, is available for a full exclusive-hire takeover, making The Swan your own private Cotswolds venue for the occasion.
We hold a music licence, so live music and DJs are welcome for weddings and special occasions. We’re also very happy to work with you to decorate the pub to suit the theme and style of your event, and we can help with signage and recommend trusted local florists.
Yes, dogs are welcome across The Swan, including at private events and celebrations, and we’re always happy to make them feel at home.
