A Sparkling Evening with Gusbourne at The Swan

Join us at The Swan on Thursday 20th November for an exclusive evening celebrating the elegance of Gusbourne English wines, perfectly paired with a specially curated seasonal menu.

The evening begins with canapés served alongside Gusborne’s Blanc de Blancs 2017 – its extended ageing adding depth and versatility to a trio of canapès: tomato consommé, fig with bocconcino and Serrano ham, and miso tuna with pickled cucumber.

Our starter features lobster ravioli with bisque sauce, fennel, and garlic, which will be paired with the new Oak Reserve 2019, an oaked Blanc de Blancs that adds richness and structure.

For the main course, the Blanc de Noir 2020 – a white sparkling wine from red grapes – accompanies venison haunch steak with potato hash, carrot and orange purée, and crispy kale.

cheese course follows, paired with the Guinevere Chardonnay 2022, a still wine that complements a range of cheese styles.

To finish, enjoy a winter berry soufflé with spiced orange jam and clotted cream, perfectly matched with our Brut Rosé 2019.
