Always wanted to try calligraphy? If you’re a novice to the skill, have experimented a little, or have some skills but need some more calligraphy inspiration, then the Christmas Beginner’s Brush Pen Modern Calligraphy workshop, hosted by Rachel of Cotswolds Calligraphy, might be the creativity boost you’re looking for.

In the workshop, you will be welcomed with a calligraphy kit that is yours to keep after the workshop. Rachel will guide you through your worksheets, firstly diving into learning the foundations of calligraphy. With your new knowledge, you will create beautiful lowercase and uppercase letters, Christmas-themed words, illustrations and lettering art, finishing with creating your own Christmas card and gift tags.

Calligraphy for Rachel, is a slow and steady process. Putting the pen to paper offers a moment of relaxation and this workshop will reflect the calmness that calligraphy can bring. You will go through the worksheets at your own pace within the two and a half hours. There will be plenty of time for Rachel to guide you, share top tips, and ask any questions you may have along the way. Both right- and left-handers welcome!

During the workshop you will enjoy a selection of delicious seasonal canapés as well as a glass or two of bubbles. A perfect way to get into the festive spirit early.

Tickets are available to buy here.
