There’s nothing quite like the smell of the grill, a cold drink in hand, and the sound of laughter filling the garden—and that’s exactly what you’ll find at The Swan every Friday evening from 6pm and Sunday from midday during the summer.
Our BBQ Grill Weekends are all about relaxed evenings with great food, good company, and that golden-hour glow. We’ll be firing up the grill to serve a mouthwatering line-up of sizzling BBQ favourites—from middle eastern lamb shoulder and miso salmon, piri piri chicken to harissa halloumi skewers and more. Alongside the grill, we’re dishing up fresh, seasonal salads bursting with summer flavours to round out your plate – think corn on the cob garlic butter, orzo sundried tomato and basil pesto, smashed potato with chimichurri, charred tenderstem, feta and chilli.
Whether you’re winding down after a long week, catching up with friends, or just fancy something a little different for dinner, our garden is the place to be. Find a sunny spot, order a drink, and let us take care of the rest.

NB: We’ll also be serving pizzas and our terrace menu but our main menu will be taking a night off and giving centre stage to the BBQ specials.
