Hop Along to The Chequers this Easter!

The Chequers

Easter weekend is nearly here and we’ve created a run of seasonal specials across the whole long weekend at The Chequers — with something different to enjoy each day.

Good Friday
We’re starting the weekend with lamb cutlets served with romesco and charred leeks – rich, flavourful and perfect for the start of the Easter break.

Easter Saturday
On Saturday we’re serving lamb rump with braised baby gem, smoked bacon, peas and new potatoes. A proper spring dish using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday calls for a classic, so we’ll be serving roast leg of lamb with all the traditional Sunday trimmings.

Easter Monday
To finish the weekend, we’re keeping it relaxed with slow-cooked lamb shoulder flatbread, cucumber, pickled onion and mint yoghurt. Perfect with a drink and a long Bank Holiday afternoon.
