Oysters & English Sparkling Weekend at The Chequers

From 20th–22nd March, we’re celebrating one of the finest pairings around at The Chequers: fresh oysters and English sparkling wine. Join us for a special weekend dedicated to beautifully fresh oysters served alongside crisp, elegant bubbles – the perfect excuse to gather friends and make it a special weekend!

Throughout the weekend we’ll be serving a selection of oysters from across the British Isles, including Cornish Porthilly, Maldon Pacific and Scottish Rock oysters, all available at £4 each. To make things even better, order six oysters and enjoy a complimentary glass of London Clay English sparkling – a bright and refreshing match for the briny freshness of the oysters.

Alongside the classics, we’ll also be serving Oysters Rockefeller, baked with spinach and a herb crumb for a rich and comforting twist on the traditional favourite. For something heartier, our kitchen will be preparing a Steak and Oyster Pie, served with soft mash, greens and a crisp oyster tempura – a proper indulgent dish and a nod to one of Britain’s most historic culinary combinations.

To round off the weekend, we’ll have live music on Saturday 22nd from 7–9pm, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a glass of sparkling, a plate of oysters and a lively evening at The Chequers.
