Gold Cup Lunch at The Chequers – 13th March

Join us at The Chequers on Friday 13th March for a proper Gold Cup lunch as Cheltenham Festival reaches its thrilling finale.

We’ll be showing all the racing throughout the day, building up to the Gold Cup itself at 4pm — so you can settle in, enjoy a leisurely lunch, and soak up the atmosphere from first race to final furlong.

Our special Gold Cup Menu is available at 2 courses for £32 or 3 courses for £38, featuring hearty, seasonal dishes perfect for the occasion. Start with Tamworth ham hock terrine or a twice-baked cheddar soufflé, before moving on to classics such as sirloin steak Diane, steak & ale pie with bone marrow mash, or smoked haddock with hollandaise. To finish, expect comforting favourites including sticky toffee pudding and raspberry & champagne trifle.

Whether you’re joining us for a long lunch with friends or making a full afternoon of it, The Chequers is the perfect place to celebrate the biggest day in the racing calendar.
